A 28 year old Korean man has fallen in love with- and married- a pillow.

The pillow, is a large, huggable pillow from Japan called a ‘dakimakura’ – and is usually printed with a picture of a popular anime character.

In this case the pillow has an image of anime character Fate Testarossa, from the ‘magical girl’ series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.

‘He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,’ said one friend.

‘They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal,’ they added.

The man was wed to the pillow by a priest in a special ceremony.

The pillow groom has been described by the local media has otaku a Japanese term that roughly translates as ‘obsessive’ and ‘nerd’. I beleive the term to describe in English is- nutter.
