Devender Harney was born with 25 fingers – he has six fingers on each hand, six toes on one foot and seven on the other, with a total of 25 digits.
Despite his unusual digits, Devender lives a normal life of a 10 – year-old boy. He says that the extra fingers give him an advantage over his peers.
“Other students are always curious about his features. Children watch as he performs various actions. He has normally communication with classmates and has no conflicts about his features,”- said Shraddha Kelapure, Superintendent of his school.
“This is probably a good thing that the Lord gave him 25 fingers. I feel that it will help him achieve more in life with twenty fingers. Doctors also say that everything is smooth” – mother of the boy Uma Harney.
Unlike other similar cases, where extra limbs are usually underdeveloped and not able to be used, with Devender his extra fingers and toes are as advanced as the rest.
The boy’s parents sent a request to the Guinness Book of Records, and they report that the administration of Books is interested in their son.
